Welcome From the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
Dear Students,
Welcome to UC Davis! I’m excited to share The Black Pages—a student-created guide designed to connect you with the African diasporic community on campus. Inside, you’ll find culturally relevant resources to support your success, belonging and personal growth.
While this guide focuses on the unique experiences of students from the African Diaspora, its resources are open to everyone. Our commitment to creating an inclusive environment means that we are dedicated to providing resources that support every student’s academic, social and personal development.
As you explore these pages, I encourage you to not only seek out resources but also discover opportunities to build community, pursue your passions and contribute to the vibrant life of our campus. Remember—you are not alone. Support, connection and inspiration await you here.
We hope The Black Pages helps you feel a deep sense of belonging and empowerment. Together, we are building a community where every student can excel.
